PHCOG MAG. Started publishing a special issue - PHARMACOGNOSY REVIEWS (Phcog Rev.) Vol - I - A supplement to Phcog Mag. on June 1st, 2007. Due to enormous response and submissions from worldwide. It was decided to continue as a separate “Title” publication from Phcog.net

Ist Call for Review Articles was made on 25^th January, 2007 followed by IInd Call for Review Articles on 28^th February, 2007 and March 31st, 2007 was the deadline for submitting review articles to be considered for peer review process for the First Issue of "Pharmacognosy Reviews - Phcog Rev." • Review Articles Submission Deadline  : 31^st March, 2007

• Peer review Process                          : 1^st April - 30^th April, 2007

• Notification of Acceptance                  : 30^th  April, 2007

• Proofs of Accepted Articles via email   : Before 5^th May, 2007

• Return of Proofs with corrections to editorial office (Hard copy) : Before 20th May, 2007

 

A New Editorial Board was constituted in the Month of April, 2007

First Issue of Phcog Rev. was officially released on 1st June, 2007       

Call For Review Articles

 

Review articles related Herbal Drug Development, Alternative systems, Plant reviews (Download template : www.phcog.net/phcogmag/downloads.htm), Special topics, or any other relevant topic related to medicinal plants. Submissions to the Phcog Rev. should follow the Phcog Mag. submission instructions which can be obtained from the following web site: http://www.phcog.net/phcogrev  ; www.phcogrev.com

 

Electronic submissions are preferred.

 

Each submission should note that it is intended for the Pharmacognosy Reviews. We recommend that papers should not exceed 40 pages (including figures and references); authors should consult the Associate editors of the issue if they feel that they need additional space. Potential authors are asked to notify the Associate editors (Mueen Ahmed K K, email: mueen.ahmed@phcog.net, and Arun Kumar H S, email: arun.kumar@phcog.net) as soon as possible of their intent to submit an article. Sometime thereafter (but not later than a month prior to the submission deadline), they should submit a tentative title and short abstract (which can be altered for the actual submission) to enable the formation of a panel of appropriate reviewers.
